Robin’s rule: Never assume iconic. It’s an over used word at the moment and in most cases isn’t true.

Curious, I wondered what Wikipedia had to say about the word iconic. I wondered if there was some new definition or new millennial thinking about what it means and how something iconic is defined. Not really.

In my mind, something iconic transcends generations and cultures. It’s way bigger than using it to describe a purse or a plate of food.

Just a little word bugaboo on this rainy Virginia day.
