In the early morning rain

We finally got some rain. It started last night and I was pleased to see it was still showering early this morning. It was the perfect early morning for sitting in my rocker and staring out the window, sipping coffee, having a think.

Back in the day, I could play this on my guitar and sing a pretty good version of this song, although I’m not sure I sang the correct words. It’s an all time favorite. Let’s listen.

Father God,
Thank You for the blessing of this rain today. Thank You for refreshing us. We have been thirsty for rain, and for You. In the strong name of Your Son, Jesus, amen.
