Robin il est absent…

Funny one of the few phrases I remember from high school French class is about being absent. My brain is mostly fuzz and blurs of things lately. It’s like having a head full of dust bunnies. Words aren’t forming or coming to me in structure or promise. I think it has to do with not feeling settled yet, not having pictures on the walls, knocking into furniture because it’s not in its exact right spot, nor have any books on shelves or even shelves to put them on. It feels like a month we’ve been here but it’s really just a couple of weeks. I see hopeful progress espcecially in the last two days which is likely driven by a deadline…I’m hatching a plan to drive to Wisconsin to see my parents and my sister. So for now and maybe a bit longer, Robin il est absent.

In the mean time, I’m collecting ideas for stuff to write about. I’d love a rabbit trail to follow so leave me a link or an idea in the comments.
