Looking in the mirror

I don’t look in the mirror much. The first problem is actually seeing. With glasses off I am but a blurry blob for most of the morning routine. And, not a fan of light, it’s not usually even light enough to look in the mirror when I am in personal retreat. Recently, maybe mood influenced and perhaps a tad too introspective and under the influence of new light bulbs, I found myself staring in the mirror and not recognizing the person reflecteded back. I squinted to be sure. She squinted right back.

Hmmm. I think I need beauty products.
