Flip the switch

What would you turn off or on if you could? If you could turn off temptation as easily as pressing the power button on your computer, would you? If you could remove what gnaws, worries, angsts, angers, frustrates, discourages, or obsesses your thoughts would it really solve anything? If you could flip a switch to take away sins of the past would you?
Would flipping a switch on any or all of those things running in your head right now allow us to recognize each other as we know each other? Would flipping a switch eliminate us from each other’s lives?
What would you turn on if you could? Would it be as much as you would turn off?
By choosing to flip a switch do we hurt God one way or another?
Is that what He wants?
And, if we got to turn off our evil, could we resist flipping it back on?
